As an admission counselor my goal was to help guide prospective students throughout the admission process from and showcasing the qualities of a small, private, liberal arts education at Otterbein University. I worked with prospective students from Northwest Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan by creating connections at high school visits, college fairs, and off campus yield events. Assisting families throughout the application, financial aid, and housing process. Increased enrollment from this area through one recruitment cycle. As a member of the Alumni Recruitment team I collaborated with campus partners in the creation of a program to have alumni members go to college fairs in areas where we had a strong alumni base. I lead the implementation process of communication, marketing, training, and logistics of preparing alumni to be ambassadors of the admission office and university.
