I have been fortunate to be associated with Oil and Gas industry across functions like LPG, Logistics, ERP implementation, CRM implementation and envisioning the IT strategy in line with Indian Oil’s business plan for the last four decades. I led the project for implementation of IT strategy and Digital Transformation within the context of the overall corporate plan and strategy of IndianOil from the year 2019 till end 2021. Also played the CIO role in IndianOil from the 2016 till 2018. Passionate about optimizing organizational design and business process re-engineering in order to drive value through the company. Known for being aggressive and adaptive when opportunities are available to the company. Believe in the agile way of working of “Think Big, Start Small, Scale Fast”. “If you bring a perfect solution, you are too late into the market. As Executive Director, Corporate Information Systems in the year 2016, I was spearheading corporate information systems department functions like ERP operations, Business process management, Cyber Security etc. Implemented a large scale Dealer Management System cum CRM solution for the 50,000 dealers and over 200M Customers of Petroleum products. Later in 2019, I was leading the Digital Transformation team in Indian Oil as Executive Director Strategic Information systems.

As General Manager information systems, I was involved with in-house development of Centralized application which enabled on-line operation of 12000+ LPG distributors on a centralised platform. This software enabled Indian Oil to successfully implement the Government of India, flagship schemes like DBTL (PAHAL) and Ujjwala. The PAHAL scheme was also awarded by the Guinness World Records as the “World’s largest cash benefit transfer program” (jointly awarded to Oil marketing PSU’s)
