Standing at 5'1", I’ve always struggled to find activewear that truly fits. Frustrated by the lack of options for petite women, I decided to take matters into my own hands and founded Avo Activewear, the UK’s first activewear brand designed exclusively for women 5'3" and under. What began in my back bedroom has grown into an award-winning, community-driven brand loved by over 10,000 women. Our leggings were named “Best Petite Full Length Gym Leggings” by Women’s Health, and Avo has since been recognised by Drapers, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, and the Enterprise Vision Awards for innovation, disruption, and entrepreneurship. From designing products and leading marketing to growing a small but mighty team, I’m still closely involved in every part of the business. It’s been a journey of persistence, learning, and immense pride - and every message from a customer who finally finds leggings that fit makes it all worth it. At Avo, we’re passionate about creating high-quality, long-lasting, and flattering activewear for petite women - pieces that feel as good as they look. Beyond the products, my mission is to build a community where petite women feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
