Deeply passionate about fragrances, handloom textiles, indigo and well-being, Ally Matthan has pursued her callings through two entrepreneurial entities. Professionally recognised as one of India’s best perfumers having worked with several brands to build recognizable fragrance profiles for them, through her business Ally Matthan Creations Private Limited she runs a manufacturing unit for fragrance and fragrance-based products for skin, hair, bath and personal care. Contract manufacturing and white labelling of bath and skincare products 2. Suppliers of custom created spa products 3. Suppliers of hotel amenities , travel and guest products 4. Bespoke fragrance creations for individuals as well as brands 5. An independent personal care brand - Areev Ally Matthan also has a reputable clientele for whom she has custom created brand building fragrances.   Ally Matthan has also pursued an interest in handloom textiles, their research and documentation. She is actively involved in The Registry of Sarees –a Research and Study Center with a multi-disciplinary approach that enables design, curatorial and publishing projects in the area of hand spun ( Khadi) and handwoven textiles. The centre is home to two curated collections of textiles that are publicly accessible. The Registry of Sarees also supports projects that empower handloom through it’s sister concern Yali. These projects evolved from the work and ground projects that The Registry of Sarees is involved with weavers and farmers. In 2015, she founded the #100 sareepact - an initiative that encouraged women across the India and the world to wear sarees. She is also a Tedx Speaker.
