Provided support of the marketing team during the largest expansion at LEGOLAND California Resort for the 2013 opening of the Hotel. Performed administrative, logistical, research and operational tasks for the Sales and Marketing Department, and acts as a resource or point of contact for communication and project coordinator. Coordinated the fulfillment of requests for complimentary passes to the Resort and reservations to the Hotel for working media. Prepared letters, memoranda, emails, and media recaps to support the need of the public relations team. Implemented and maintained systems, methods, and procedures to track and document media coverage of LEGOLAND California Resort and the nation’s first LEGOLAND Hotel as well as contacts, projects, information, and records. Directly assisted the Media Relations Specialist and Media Relations Representative.

Responsible for the operation of assigned retail locations by displaying, promoting and tagging merchandise. Performs a variety of duties related to display and sale of merchandise items. Maintains retail area and merchandise in a safe, clean and orderly fashion. Assigns and supervises the activities of Retail Sales Associates to ensure timely and efficient completion of daily responsibilities. Responsible for merchandise orders/paperwork, stocking, ticketing, merchandise display and house keeping. Manages cash register operations and cash control to ensure accuracy. Assist in the training of Retail Sales Associates. Assist guests and model citizens in handling difficult situations.

Responsible for writing and issuing certificates to constituents who have served well in the community. Responsible for entering data into a database and performing statistics on said data. Volunteered in the community with the Assemblyman and other workers.

Assists guests with various tasks such as; making restaurant reservations, arranging for spa services, recommending night life, booking transportation (limousines, airplanes, boats, etc.), procurement of tickets to special events and assisting with various travel arrangements and tours of local attractions. Accommodate all guest requests with accuracy, proficiency and professionalism Maintains knowledgeable of the entire resort from a guest point of view and readily be available to answer any questions or make suggestions to guests of all types of different needs. Find the guest a suitable answer to any and all questions they may ask. Assist guest with any and all questions.

Builds reservations for guests. Provides a memorable experience for guests as they are checking in and checking out. Assigns rooms while also coordinating with housekeeping to resolve traces on reservations. Prepare birthday packages and deliver to guests. Correspond with guests during their stay. Ensure Site Tour Rooms have been pre-blocked according to the request of the marketing manager. Assist in training new staff members of the front desk. Works with hotel teams to streamline the flow of communication and operational processes related to all departments within the Resort, with a focus on efficiency and guest convenience. Continually explores and provides feedback relative to training and continuous training of all agents and to enforce the definition of guest journey. Works closely with the Front Office Managers to achieve the wider hotel objectives and to consistently deliver the guest experience.
