Designed and developed a person-following robot using: -YOLO (You Only Look Once) for fast and accurate human detection. -CSRT tracking algorithm to maintain robust tracking under occlusion and dynamic movement. -PID control system for smooth and adaptive real-time motion control. Implemented gesture-based control for an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) using: -Hand landmark detection via MediaPipe to recognize directional gestures. -Enabled intuitive and touchless human-robot interaction for AGV navigation. Developed a 3D visualization pipeline: -Utilized Three.js to render point cloud data for real-time inspection. -Processed depth images stored in ROS bag files to extract environmental geometry. -Enhanced the position recording system of an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR): Refined coordinate transformations and calibration routines. -Achieved a 20% improvement in localization accuracy, improving mapping and movement reliability.
