Consult with Graduate students to brainstorm research questions for projects/papers/theses, research design, appropriate statistical strategies, instruction in the use of statistical software, proofreading for APA format for submission/publishing.

Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts. Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics such as abnormal psychology, cognitive processes, and work motivation. Run therapeutic groups. Perform case management on low-functioning, behavior-disordered adult clients, some remanded by the criminal courts as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. Attended daily Treatment Team meetings, wrote progress notes, updated client chart, collaborated with Team members of other disciplines including Psychiatry direct care, and Medical. Provided discharge planning services.

Wrote study proposal, Internal Review Board docs, recruited and screened test subjects, operated EEG, FFT software, glucometers, SPSS, Neuroscan SCAN data analysis software, administered psychological questionnaires, scheduled and debriefed test subjects. Wrote up results, published in peer-reviewed journals.

Assisted with research projects of Psychology department faculty including screening test subjects, administering questionnaires, compiling raw data, entering raw data into SPSS, running statistical analyses, debriefing test subjects. Tested Mongolian gerbils and human subjects on a computer-run phoneme discrimination paradigm. Produced reports from raw data, calculated chow weights.
