- Develop and perform detailed DFA analysis and liaison to NVIDIA hardware development team and provide manufacturing solutions using the best industry practice. - Review of contract manufacturer (CM) readiness, lead and develop assembly fixture & jig, harness assembly management, extra length, retention, implement KISS principle, establish clear assembly and manufacturing specification through a step-by-step validation process. - Identify, assess and apply risk mitigation techniques to optimize manufacturability, initiate and lead investigation of issues, root cause product failures, and drive corrective action, that are or might adversely affect CM manufacturability. - Gather feedback through DFx, yield issues, repair center activities to improve workflow efficiency and find yield opportunities. - Analyze system assembly gap/step, study the cosmetic appearance, find improvement opportunities, build DFA exception agreement (end to end product life cycle). - Assess automation cycle time and propose waste reduction, cost optimization, recommend technology aids, product design changes, and workspace layout modification to achieve optimum quality and efficiency. - Coordinate the purchase of special equipment, materials, and other parts to ensure they meet intended use, specifications, and quality standards.
