In my role as an associate, I assisted my colleagues in drafting tax and environmental provisions to merger, asset purchase, credit, and lease agreements, and their ancillary documents. This involved conducting tax and environmental due diligence in corporate transactions as well as researching and drafting memoranda analyzing tax and environmental issues associated with those transactions. I also assisted corporate clients with their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. This involved drafting and analyzing environmental statements in public filings and determining whether such environmental statements were non-misleading.

My time with Sun Tribe Solar, LLC allowed me to help provide guidance in ensuring legal compliance throughout the company. In this role, I have drafted employment, subcontractor, equipment lease, engineering, procurement and construction, project acquisition, and power purchase agreements. Additionally, I assisted in the preparation for negotiations surrounding significant deals between the company and its clients.

During my work as bilingual writer and translator, I wrote and composed affidavits, briefs, and motions for submission to the United States Citizen Immigration Services (USCIS) and Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). I translated in Spanish for multinational clients in regards to the immigration processes. I aided the attorneys in completing visas, removal proceedings, and other immigration-related issues for clients.

I taught English-learning lessons to Spanish speakers. I assisted my students in adapting to American daily life, and I provided assistance in understanding legal documents written in English.

I coordinated the daily activities with roustabout crews on productive wells, oversaw the construction of tank batteries for productive wells, and translated work orders into Spanish for the work crews.

I oversaw the implementation of a behavioral-medicine psychological study, analyzed study results in SPSS, and participated in team-oriented projects to create a poster presentation of the study's results.
