Burundian population enjoys progress toward a meaningful,sustained and quality peace as result of more effective ,stronger and coordinated involvement from the regional and international community.This was possible due to raising public and international awareness through private and unbranded media work,private advocacy and lobbying toward regional,african and international level and strengh my analysis of regional power dynamic,available leverages on Burundi and start building coalition of like minded actors.Raising the voice of civil society by facilitation advocacy initiatives of Burundian,EAC or Panafrican Civil society organisation and Chaneling the voices of communities. The Definition of the crisis and responses based on a better understanding of the complex context and addresses in a safer and adequate way the existing humanitarian needs,prevents the increase of those needs and strengthens preparedness to potential deterioration of the crisis. For that, within oxfam i develop an internal and external understanding of needed response highlighting the link between developpement and humanitarian means in Burundi and how it can be implemented. Secondly raising the profile of the multidimensional crisis(unbranded private and pu blic lobby)among humanitarian versus developmenf comunity, donors, political stakeholders etc. Push stronger Ocha advocacy as well as HCT advocacy role on specific issues requiring high level advocacy effort and provide technical support when there is an added value.
