In my mind the most fascinating things of engineering is it able to turn assumptions into reality, make things simple & efficient, and create long term values. Data-driven business often suffer from poor data sources, resulting in inefficiencies, waste, and even some negative factors that we anticipated. If we consider the engine to be human, then the auxiliary fluid systems are as important as human's microcirculation system. We can't ignore its importance as underlying elements for powertrain system.

The tool aim to make flow and heat balance calculation standardization and support related auxiliary components dimension on solid physical basis. I am responsible for the calculation tool architecture development, roadmap planning, algorithm implementation, coding (Excel VBA based) and simulation results verification. Prepare machinery configurations lifecycle cost comparisons for sales opportunities, aim to support customer chose a fitted cost effective machinery configuration at earlier phase. As well as prepare engine fluids & auxiliary systems for these opportunities, that to take into account ship operating profiles, functionality, systems flexibility, energy efficiency, and lifecycle cost etc.
