Development and preparation technical bidding documents of machinery & piping systems aspect for local new building offshore projects. Involved projects include FPSO dynamic positon unit, semi-submersible drilling platform, well intervention platform etc. Participate trainings of engineering software, e.g. Pro/E, Intergraph SmartPlant 3D, documents management software etc.

Junior design engineer as technical coordinator between engineering and construction department. Design engineer for piping systems, machinery arrangement, shaft line design etc. Develop machinery & piping systems specifications, prepare technical proposals according to contract constrains, review supplier documents of technical compliance, system calculations. Listen, collect, identify, clarify, and coordinate across disciplines for construction problems of machinery & systems aspect.

* Focus on support globally & locally 4S delivery and sales projects, such as P&IDs design, auxiliary components sizing support, training newcomers, reply technical questions from customers. * 4 stroke engine cooling system flow & heat balance tool developing, maintaining the tool, and implementing new functions into the tool acc.to needs. * 4 stroke engines process & auxiliaries system troubleshooting during design, construction and commissioning phase. * Involve engines product improvement project when necessary.

Provide engine process & auxiliary aspects expertise support to local & global internal teams, e.g. project management, sales engineering, after sales(warrtanty / retrofit etc.), joint ventures etc. Development of fuel oil, lube oil, cooling water, combustion air and exhaust gas; design evaluation of systems; shipyard's drawings review; complex auxiliary systems commissioning issues root cause identification and problems solving. As well based on previous development achievements, a new generic 1-D numerical model developed for engine cooling system flow & heat balance calculation, now it be widely applied for diesel / dual fuel engines cooling system project designs, the calculation results are highly compatible with the engine test results and it means we can more effective predication cooling process for a specific design and support customers.

Key developer of marine engines in-house cooling system flow and heat balance tool for various type medium speed 4 stroke engines and cooling system options. The tool aim to make flow and heat balance calculation standardization and support related auxiliary components dimension on solid physical basis. I am responsible for the calculation tool architecture development, roadmap planning, algorithm implementation, coding (Excel VBA based) and simulation results verification. Prepare machinery configurations lifecycle cost comparisons for sales opportunities, aim to support customer chose a fitted cost effective machinery configuration at earlier phase. As well as prepare engine fluids & auxiliary systems for these opportunities, that to take into account ship operating profiles, functionality, systems flexibility, energy efficiency, and lifecycle cost etc.

Born in 1977, I am married with one children. I graduated in Energy and Power Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology and completed a master’s degree in Mechnical Engineering at Shanghai Maritime University. Now focus on technical support of marine four stroke engine process & auxiliaries.
