Allan Jordan

A dedicated, passionate and proactive leader of multi-disciplinary drug discovery programmes with extensive expertise in oncology therapeutics. Extensive medicinal chemistry experience across multiple therapeutic areas and an established track record of delivering programmes from target evaluation to clinical-quality molecules, across international collaborations with academia and industry. Closely involved in the delivery of fourteen pre-clinical candidate molecules, with nine of these entering clinical trials, including several first-in-class agents. Empowering and team-oriented management style, with a strong self and team development ethos. Experienced in the establishment, from scratch, of state-of-the-art drug discovery laboratory capabilities and the implementation and development of integrated data informatics systems and electronic lab notebooks. An established and articulate communicator of science, through both written and spoken disclosures and a passionate advocate of public engagement with science, recognised through national awards for research engagement.
