As a Procurement & Supply Chain Officer at Société des Ciments de Tébessa (SCT) – GICA Group, I am responsible for managing both local and international procurement operations to ensure the continuous supply of materials and equipment. I handle tenders, contracts, and purchase orders in full compliance with company procedures and legal regulations. I lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms. My role also includes overseeing foreign purchasing processes, managing import operations, coordinating customs clearance, and handling logistics. I monitor stock levels, optimize inventory management, and collaborate closely with finance, production, and warehousing departments. Additionally, I ensure strict adherence to procurement policies and Algerian financial laws while maintaining strong relationships with national and international suppliers. My daily tasks involve working with ERP systems for tracking procurement operations and stock levels, reporting, and participating in budget planning, market analysis, and cost control initiatives.
