* Rotated between the Parliamentary Office in 1 Parliament Street, Westminster and Constituency Office. * Wrote Press Release for MP’s activities: disseminated this through website, social media and mailing lists. * Presented written and spoken briefings to prospective MP candidate for 2015 * Conducted parliamentary research to brief my office manager of relevant political issues and regulations. * Managed circa 720 constituents’ correspondence on Parliamentary issues as well as Government Ministers’ policies.

* Working in The Muslim News writing articles, briefings and summaries I gained experience in ensuring that there were no mistakes in anything I produced. * Writing articles on current affairs: requires succinct writing skills, political awareness and deadline keeping. * Attending the Press Lobby and PMQs in the House of Commons – reporting any newsworthy information.

* Prepared resources and attended the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva as an NGO with General Consultative Status regarding violence against children, FGM and the rise of religious intolerance. * Conducted briefings, contacted and maintained relationships with journalists and academics. * Organised events and seminars with academics on the study of minority rights.

* Communicated with customers to understand their desires and provided a tailored solution to sell to them. * Maintained many aspects of the store: checked stocks, cleaned, sold products, prevented theft and advised the manager. * Attained the level of bestseller in Carlo Pazolini with relatively minimal experience in sales retail.

* Worked as an intern in a Mayfair-based investment bank initially as a Real Estate Associate. Furthered my insight into the financial sector. Initially a 3-week contract, QIB-UK extended my internship by a further 4 weeks. * Rotated between multiple departments; Real Estate, Asset Management, Corporate Finance, Operations, Finance. * Interning at QIB-UK developed my analytical and quantitative skills as I researched to advise clients on setting up Special Purpose Vehicles to finance UHNW London residential properties; some portfolios reaching figures of over £40million. * Administered financial spreadsheets for client loan viability considering market conditions, revenues, asset holdings etc.

* Conducted reports on UN meetings, liaising with the ambassador to discuss the reports intended for Baghdad. * Summarised ECOSOC, General Assembly and Security Council meetings alongside contextual political commentary. * Attended the 6810th UNSC meeting to vote on a resolution with a Chapter 7 (of the UN Charter) article concerning Syria. * Took the initiative to set up a meeting with the Iraqi Ambassador and Director of FAF, a foundation which hold a $500,000 conference on global issues, leading to the initiation of the 12th Annual Youth Assembly.
