Achievements: • Alix participated in a scrap reduction project, successfully maintaining the area at a single-digit scrap rate. • Continuous participation in defect reduction projects, validation of substitute materials, and new product introductions (NPI). • Contributed to increasing RTY from 50% (below target) to 90% (within target) by implementing continuous improvement initiatives and conducting root cause analysis of major process defects. Also implemented layout changes to improve process flow and optimize space utilization.

Responsible for the production processes as well as ensuring that the manufacturing of the product is effective and efficient hand in hand with quality, ensuring the least waste, keeping costs low and keeping production numbers competitive for the company. Responsible for performing validations of equipment and materials for use in the process to maintain the least waste of time in production lines as well as the creation of process documentation to comply with company audits. Reporting to Process Engineer, with a team of 2 collaborators under my charge. Accomplishments: • I participated in the development of an improvement proposal on a strategic material -optical fiber- that presented defects, affecting the manufacturing of the final product -module-, causing stoppages in the production lines of up to 180 minutes per day, managing to reduce to "zero" the production downtime per day, by redesigning the fixture of such material on the one hand and developing the operator's skills on the other. • Participated in the implementation and development of new process for the reduction of costs and materials in the product which were "Gel Free"& "phoenix" from which a saving of more than 80k dollars was realized for the company. • Participated in increasing RTY from 65% off target to 90% on target, implementing continuous improvements and performing root cause study and evaluation of major defects in the process, also making layout changes for an increase in process flow and optimizing space.
