Detecting High-Risk Behavior in COVID Patients Using Smartphone Location Data Senior thesis advised by Prof. Eli Fenichel • Developed a set of heuristics to distinguish patients from hospital staff in anonymized smartphone location data • Investigated high-risk behavioral trends among hospitalized patients. We found that hospitalized individuals had statistically significant higher number of close contacts (via cell phone proximity) than a comparator set of individuals living in the same neighborhood. Interdisciplinary Research on the Environment is High Quality Research Co-author with Prof. Eli Fenichel • Built novel datasets of (1) interdisciplinary research that had received funding from the NSF’s interdisciplinary research program and (2) a comparator set of papers published in same journal issues as the interdisciplinary research (to insure similar “quality”). • We found that interdisciplinary research had significantly greater standardized citation count than non- interdisciplinary research.

• Analyzed property type and geographical exposure of firm’s $2B real estate portfolio using property-level financial statements. These results were presented to the Investment Committee. • Presented real estate secondaries funds competitive landscape research to Investment Committee.
