A rotation program designed to develop new graduates for leadership roles within the company: • Every 3-4 months, I took on a new job roll at a different location or business segment within the company throughout Eastern Canada. • Getting exposure to various industries including Mining, Power Generation, Marine, Public/residential infrastructure, Agriculture, Forestry and Highway Trucks from a business management perspective. • Aside from the rotations, this 2 year program includes various leadership training, technical training, as well as short/long term projects targeted towards improving the overall business performance and reaching organizational targets.

• Completed various process improvement projects that increased shop efficiencies and reduced required labour hours. • Provided solutions by introducing new arrangements, audits, technologies, and management techniques. • Designed floor plans, process flows and load bearing fixtures stamped by Professional Engineers • Procured capital equipment, and commissioned several internal projects. • Was responsible for all HVAC, electrical, plumbing, crane repairs, and all other building and machine repairs for 3 separate production shops. • Worked on capital expansion/relocation project designing floor plans, process flow, preparing business cases for senior management, and pricing capital equipment, tooling and all other costs. Capital required and approved for the expansion was $500, 000 with a potential return of $9.4 million increase in annual revenue as per the business case.

• Instruct a lab of over 50 first year students, working closely with the professor and other teaching assistants to facilitate lab exercises and mark associated assessments. • Improved in effective communication and became an expert in design techniques and tools such as CAD.

• Worked in the Pre-Delivery Inspection department. • Tested newly made vehicle via dynamometer tests to efficiently ensure compliance with power, speed and RPM specifications resulting in increased through put rate and decreased back log. • Updated reports for vehicles requiring additional repairs or inspection. • Obtained solid understanding of automobile assembly and inspection process control.

The complete design process was implemented in the creation of our robot, and although it was a team effort, each team member had their own specific responsibilities. - I was responsible for the conceptual design, initial sketches and CAD drawings of the final robot my team constructed. My previous experience in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD was a great asset to my team. - The 1241 robot was extremely successful in multiple tournaments, winning 2 regional tournaments and our team made it as far as the Division Finals at the VEX World Championships in 2013.

Refereed for an adult volleyball league run by Corporate Sports. - This position required me to have a detailed understanding of all the rules and regulations of the sport. My 7 years of experience playing competitive volleyball and my admiration of the sport qualified me for this position. - Responsible for making correct calls, keeping score, and filling out score sheets. - Skill sets learned and developed through this position include; critical thinking, judgment and decision making, active learning and listening, monitoring, social perceptiveness, coordination and negotiation.
