I was hired to grow RevenueCat's tech teams in Europe to further their mission of helping developers make more money. RevenueCat makes building, analysing and growing mobile subscriptions easy. The company launched as part of Y Combinator's summer 2018 batch, handling more than $1.2B of in-app purchases annually across thousands of apps.

Yoco is a payments provider for over 200k self-employed small businesses that launched in 2015 and today processes over US$2 billion annually. Their mission is to open commerce for all and break down barriers and unlock economic opportunities that enable people to thrive. I worked as an Embedded Talent Acquisition Partner in the Yoco TA team focused on Tech and Leadership hiring in South Africa and Egypt. I partnered with the local TA Specialists and business leaders to understand deeply the hiring requirements, culture and processes that enabled me to source, interview and shortlist the best possible talent.

WeAreKeen is the recruitment partner for fast-moving scale-ups and established enterprises alike. As a Client Lead I was leading a small (but mighty!) team in Berlin while being involved in hands-on recruitment on two projects - at Box and Yoco.

I supported Box with scaling their Box Sign team in Amsterdam. As an Embedded Talent Partner I was reponsible for: - Attracting top talent through close collaboration with Hiring Managers and senior stakeholders, with a high focus on D&I and candidate experience. - Utilising recruitment funnel analytics to monitor and enhance hiring processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness. - Translating data into actionable insights to align recruitment strategies with company objectives. - Collaboration with the TA team to create comprehensive resources for hiring in the local market

I led a team of 7 Talent Acquisition Partners for Applied Science (AI) & Product Design recruitment across Zalando. My team comprised of both, full-time employees as well as contractors.

My job was to attract the right type of talent, and I did that by stalking people online, from the comfort of Zalando's Berlin office :). I was overseeing hiring of all sorts of AI Talent: Research Engineers, Research Scientists and Data Scientists across Zalando. It was a challenging task, but incredibly rewarding and a great learning opportunity.

I got to eat a lot of free food and snacks while sourcing passive candidates for Site Reliability Engineering teams: • Use Boolean search, Google applications, and social networking sites to identify potential candidates. • Contact and interview selected candidates for roles across EMEA • Scheduling first and second technical interviews • Maintain multiple databases to track a high volume of candidates while maintaining exceptional accuracy. Areas I recruited for: • Technical Leadership roles - Technical Program Managers & Engineering Managers/Directors • Software Engineering: C/C++, Python, Java, Go etc. • Systems/Network Engineering: UNIX/Linux, Distributed Systems, Storage, TCP/IP, MySQL/NoSQL.

GITPS has offices in the UK, Finland and USA and provides clients with access to ‘hard to find/niche’ IT skills in the Banking & Finance, Telecoms, ERP and DW/BI domains. My role as an International Recruiter was to source IT Specialists across the EMEA, Asia and North America, covering a variety of permanent as well as contract positions.
