Alicia was a Shareholder with Ogletree Deakins for more than a decade and represented employers of all sizes in all aspects of labor and employment law. She was a guest on numerous, nationally-syndicated radio programs, and appeared as an employment law commentator on Fox 4 News. She was, and remains, a frequent speaker on labor and employment issues before local, state and national audiences, served as a mentor to associates, and served as a firm resource in a number of areas, including restrictive covenants, religious and ADA accommodations, and the FMLA. In March 2016, she resigned from Ogletree to become a Member of Lillard Wise Szygenda PLLC.

I have extensive experience representing employers in labor and employment law matters, including, without limitation, lawsuits in state and federal court, and arbitration and mediation proceedings related to the ADA, ADAAA, ADEA, EPA, FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, OWBPA, NLRA, Title VII, the TCHRA, and other employment laws, and also counsel employers on day-to-day employment matters, provide training on investigations, discrimination, harassment, and other topics, and prepare policies, handbooks, employment and severance agreements, restrictive covenants, and other employment-related agreements. I have appeared on Fox 4 News and NBC 5 News in Dallas as a legal commentator, and have been an employment law commentator on numerous syndicated talk news radio programs around the country. I write an award-winning blog about employment law and speak to local, state, and national audiences about employment-related topics.

She is a popular speaker and trainer, and has presented to local, national, and international audiences on a wide array of employment-related topics. She has also appeared as an employment law commentator on dozens of syndicated radio programs, as well as on the local affiliates of NBC and Fox News in Dallas, and guest lectures on employment law at El Centro College.
