Worked as a climbing instructor on Baylor School's Senior Trip--a trip on which students of the senior class spend a week in the mountains of North and South Carolina climbing, backpacking, hiking and rafting.

Assisted nurses in an OB/GYN office in preparing patients for their visit. My responsibilities ranged from checking patients in and scheduling appointments to prepping rooms and taking patients' vitals.

I conducted independent research testing a hypothesis on willow trees (in the Sierra Nevada Mountains) in the ecological genetics lab at Bowdoin College with funding from the Biology department.

I worked in Labor&Delivery in Erlanger Hospital collecting data on delivered placentas. I also gathered information from patients about their backgrounds. The data I collected was used for a study looking into the issue of Chattanooga's low birth weights.
