While I was at BIRSt, my main duty was to produce two shows that were appropriate for broadcast, and at least one of these was to be an independent project. The show I produced by myself, the Alt Pop show, is a specialist music programme that I feel works well on the platform, as it is suits the audience BIRSt is aimed at through both the genre and the stylistic choices I implemented. My job for this show was to research and provide all the necessary paperwork, and then to run the show as live alone in the studio. For the co-production, a conspiracy theory podcast, I was co-hosting and assisting running the desk, as well as providing research.

While at Nerve Radio, I presented and produced a fortnightly live lunchtime show playing a variety of music from 00’s classics to Top 40. · Implemented use of Twitter when taking special requests from the audience. · Produced around 30 jingles and idents for fifteen of the shows on the station. · I selected appropriate music for my show in addition to the station playlist.
