General day-today running of the reception area, using the switchboard, ensuring visitors are attended to professionally, post and faxes are forwarded to the correct departments, arranging and preparing for meetings/onsite visits/seminars, purchasing train tickets/ booking hotel and restaurant reservations, updating spreadsheets and sorting through expenses and timesheets.

Work Experience Assisted with all aspects of the social media management, helping to develop and grow the company's social media presence.I also assisted with the redesign of the company's website from the design to the content. First point of contact for all telephone and face to face enquiries for the company. I answered the telephone and redirected calls accordingly. Handling enquiries, giving basic recruitment advice. I carried out both telephone and written referencing of candidates registering for work. Assisted with payroll, data entry to recruitment system, filing and photocopying.

The last two summers I have worked at a summer camp which lasted for 10 weeks, where I was responsible for looking after children between the ages of 13 to 16. I was trained in first aid, lifeguarding as well as wilderness first aid. I had a wide range of duties including organising camp activities, ensuring that the children’s health and well being was paramount at all times, cooking over open fire and teaching the children skills demonstrating leadership and independence. In addition to this I also lead expeditions including a five day canoe trip through Vermont Massachusetts and New Hampshire where I was the trip medic, a five day hike along the Appalachian Trail and a five day bike trip through Connecticut. The time I spent at this camp allowed me to develop my own leadership skills, creativity, time management and organisation and public speaking abilities. I also was responsible for creating and implementing daily group activities in order to keep the whole of camp stimulated and enthused.
