Lead end-to-end supply chain operations within the glass manufacturing industry, overseeing strategic procurement, supply planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics and supplier management. • Lead a supply chain organization of approximately 75 professionals across Warehouse, Procurement & Logistics, and Planning. • Lead strategic procurement of key raw materials, in addition to purchasing spare parts, machinery and equipment from local and international suppliers. • Oversee supplier selection, evaluation, development and performance management, while leading supplier negotiations and sourcing activities. • Manage demand planning, material planning, MRP, centralized production planning, inventory management and stock control to support production continuity. • Oversee local and international logistics activities, including freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs, imports/exports, international shipments and local transportation. • Review and approve RFQs, supplier quotations and purchase orders in line with business requirements and procurement strategy. • Manage supply chain budgets and report directly to the Chairman on supply chain performance and key operational matters. • Coordinate cross-functional supply chain activities to support reliable material availability, production requirements and supplier performance.
