*  Inspecting the item's work, to see that all works are carried out strictly as per quality control assurance stipulated *  Studying and checking of drawings issued by contractor * preparation of Implementation drawings & Studying contract documents. *  Confirms that work is constructed in compliance with project plans, specifications, and the latest Change Orders. *  Observe construction work such as drainage, * excavation and embankment, asphalt paving, etc. *  Ensures compliance with contract documents and * specifications. *  Responsible for carrying out all field tests related to highway works as per relevant codes and Ministry of Transport and Communication. *  Contractor or any failure of the Contractor to conform to the plans and specifications or to provide good workmanship *  Maintaining a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation & labor.
