• Develop and implement a comprehensive metering strategy aligned with the company’s operational and revenue goals. • Lead and supervise all metering teams (commercial, technical, and field operations). • Champion the rollout of AMI and smart meter technologies across the network. • Oversee customer metering programs including mass meter deployment initiatives (e.g., MAP, NMMP, AMMP). • Manage and coordinate meter installations, replacements, inspections, testing, and verification activities. • Ensure accurate metering for all customer categories (residential, commercial, industrial and MD customers). • Supervise meter reading data validation and integrity for both prepaid and postpaid systems. • Oversee the planning and metering of all Maximum Demand (MD) customers (LVMD and HVMD). • Ensure strict compliance with NERC metering regulations and standards (e.g., MAP Regulation, Metering Code). • Prepare reports and respond to metering-related queries from regulators and stakeholders. • Work closely with Revenue Protection and Commercial teams to reduce technical and commercial losses through accurate metering. • Lead initiatives to detect and address meter tampering, energy theft, and bypass. • Engage with community leaders and customers on metering awareness and grievance resolution. • Collaborate with ICT teams to integrate metering data with billing and customer information systems (CIS). • Maintain accurate metering data records and generate reports on installations, faults, and meter reading accuracy.

• Supervises all Key Customer Group’s metering activities across EKEDC areas of operation thereby ensuring 98% metering of all EKEDC KCG customers. • Monitors and supervises teams for the installation of feeder meters in EKEDC injection substations and statistical meters (DT) thereby boosting accurate billing of power supply in all areas of operation. • Monitors, supervises teams and enforce compliance with safety standards during the commissioning of newly installed low voltage (415V) and high voltage(33KV/11KV) metering panels thereby incurring 0% accident to our personnel. • Ensures 100% result in terms of collation and completion of daily & weekly technical reports on meter installations and replacement activities from the teams. • Ensures 90% deliverables in terms of response to customers’ complaint on metering issues. • Coordinates and assigns tasks to the team lead for the team members to carry out thereby meeting 100% weekly target. • Coordinate teams and ensures 100% participation in OHS awareness/training including accident prevention and working safely sessions thereby improving good work culture with safety in mind. • Coordinate teams in the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance on low voltage and high voltage metering panels and its associated instruments, which resulted in reduced technical losses across the network. • Coordinate teams to carry out energy audit (revenue protection) of low voltage and high voltage maximum demand customers, which resulted in 90% reduced energy losses and thefts across the network. • Amid many challenges in 2022, we rose to the occasion and have achieved an unprecedented ATC&C Loss of 15.69% which is a major landmark and achievement for my unit and the company at large.

• Supervised the installation of power transformers and feeder meters in our injection substations thereby boosting power supply and ensure prompt service delivery in our areas of operations. • Enforced compliance with safety standards during the commissioning of newly installed low voltage (415V) and High voltage(33/11Kv) metering panels. • Coordinate teams in the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance on low voltage and high voltage metering panels and its associated instruments, which resulted in reduced technical losses across the network. • Coordinate teams to carry out energy audit exercises(revenue protection) of low voltage and high voltage maximum demand customers, which resulted in reduced energy losses and thefts across the network. • Coordinate teams to carry out maintenance execution following Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards. • Supervises electrical power generation and distribution system maintenance. • Installs and commissions plant improvement projects. • Optimises test performance through data collection and statistical analysis
