Aleyna Kızılcak

As a student of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, I have gained a strong foundation in the relationships between the structure, properties, processing, and performance of materials. My education covers a broad range of materials including metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites. I have developed skills in materials characterization techniques (such as SEM, XRD, and mechanical testing), heat treatment, phase transformations, corrosion behavior, welding, and surface engineering. In addition, I have studied thermodynamics, physical and mechanical metallurgy and production technologies of metals. This multidisciplinary background has equipped me to understand and improve materials used in diverse industries, from manufacturing and energy to automotive and aerospace.

During my associate degree in Mechanical Technology at Dokuz Eylul University, I received both theoretical and practical training in various areas of manufacturing and mechanical engineering. I gained hands-on experience in machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, and CNC programming. I also became familiar with technical drawing, measurement and quality control techniques, material selection, and manufacturing processes. In addition, I completed courses in Machine Elements, Strength of Materials, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Maintenance Techniques. This program provided me with a strong foundation in mechanical systems, manufacturing technologies, and shop-floor applications.
