I'm a student of music in both the academic and technical senses. I'm currently working toward a Musical Studies major at Oberlin College, concentrating in Music Theory and Popular Music. Outside of that, I'm pursuing a hands-on education in composition, arranging, production, and sound engineering through my employment at Oberlin, various projects and musical groups, and independent study. I firmly believe in popular music as an art form and as a powerful vehicle for change. My educational and professional goals are to explore these beliefs through creating, analyzing, and consuming pop music.
