My name is Alex I am a Centenary University graduate of 2017 I majored in Equine Studies with a concentration in Communications for the Equine Industry. My main focus was photography. I adore taking photos of animals their people and expressing something that we take for granted in a new light. Starting from my sophomore year of high school up until my junior year of college I was able to work in a darkroom. That meant I processed my own film and negatives. I still shoot with a film camera when given the chance. I currently have 8+ years of photographic experience and can be seen frequently in the Philadelphia and Delaware Water Gap areas traveling between shoots. I love animals. I have since I was a child: always wanting to go pet the dogs, cats, rats, rabbits; always wanted to be on a horse. My photography reflects that. I love all the different personalities. My goal is to do my best to bring each aspect of them to light. This even applies to everyday, ordinary inanimate objects. Everything has a personality. My job is to capture that. To show you that it's not just a dog; it's a sibling, a child, a best friend. It's not just a bird, a tree, a rock. All of these things have memories, have emotions, and that’s what I shoot. I don't shoot faces, plants, or birds. I shoot the stories they leave behind.
