• Reported to the CEO/CFO and spearheaded financial modeling, asset diligence and transaction structuring to optimize the investment capital stack with an aim to maximize equity returns while minimizing tax exposure • Transaction experience includes cross-border tax considerations, equity partnerships, senior debt, mezzanine loans, preferred equity, 1031 exchanges and the use of ground leases to create fee/leasehold interests • Execution lead on all real estate transactions as well as equity investments into solar/wind renewable energy, battery storage and transmission line developers with projects in Canada and the USA
