Responsible for the production of all online services (web, reporting, synchronization) and corporate IT. I manage a team of 18 sysadmins, DBAs, release and software engineers, as well as 6 support engineers, within a $4+ MM budget. Managed the build-out of 2 colocations to host all online services of Wireless Generation.

Wireless Generation's synchronization platform is used by all its handheld products to seamlessly deliver up-to-date applications to its users, and synchronizes all assessment results to and from the handheld devices. It currently serves over 100000 active users. * Architect: main design decisions, operations. * Manager: team management (7 engineers), project tracking, internal process definition (e.g. release automation). * Product manager: liaison with internal stakeholders (i.e. application development, account management, support) on new platform features. Other contributions include: - Presentation of the synchronization platform at PyCon 2006. - Significant portions of code (python, pl/sql) in both client and server parts.

Technical expertise and network optimizations on mobile IP networks for Orange, leading mobile operator. Orange delegate on the topic of mobile device management at Open Mobile Alliance, an industry consortium for standardization of mobile technology.
