Manager of Leveraging Mobility, a project supported by the Ford Foundation, which examines trends in the racial wealth gap. In collaboration with Director Thomas Shapiro, our scholarship seeks to answer the question - what enables some families to build wealth while others fall behind? Drawing from both the Panel Study of Income Dynamics (PSID) and a longitudinal dataset of over 250 family interviews, the project offers a unique glimpse into how middle and working class families leverage institutional and family resources in disparate city and regional contexts to buffer against economic shocks and build inter and intra generational mobility. As project manager, I contributed my strengths in quantitative and qualitative research to help with the development of study instruments, data collection, analysis and a slate of research briefs examining a range of thematic areas underlying the racial wealth gap.

Responsible for background research and data collection on state education and budget policy to help inform the Center's mission of expanding economic opportunity for all Mainers.

Manage a dynamic team of researchers focused on a portfolio of projects examining how public-private partnerships can drive positive economic mobility for Maine's most vulnerable families.
