With over 10 years of experience in the Government of Alberta, I provide expert advice and support to government senior management and executive in the Ministry of Health on labour relations and negotiations in the health care sector. This includes the monitoring and analysis of the health care sector's labour environment, appropriate communication of sensitive information internally within government and externally with stakeholders, the development of briefings and/or reports for senior management and executive, and drafting of communications and speaking notes to the Alberta public. I have an eye for details and am experienced in dealing with sensitive issues and communicating the nuances of a variety of issues and interests. I adapt to changing situations and environments well, am able to detach from personal or organizational biases, and provide accurate and timely results. I am not affiliated with any provincial or federal political party and strive to uphold the values of the Alberta Public Service. In my spare time during the winter, I enjoy the challenge and reward of teaching skiing to children and adults of varying skill levels - from individuals who have never put skis on before to more experienced skiers who seek technical refinement. There is strength in sports, and encouraging others to enjoy and embrace the beauty of winter and the opportunities the Rockies provide for adventure is both a honour and a privilege. I am available to provide consultative services to private individuals or organizations with the provisio that work does not interfere with my existing role and responsibilities.
