Alex S.

Alex grew up in Montreal, Canada, where he started playing Minecraft at a young age and quickly advanced to running his own Minecraft server and creating content for other players. At the age of 14, Alex founded Voldex. In 2018, Voldex began to focus on the Roblox platform where it now owns top games including Brookhaven, Driving Empire, and NFL Universe Football. Alex is a recognized leader in the UGC gaming industry. His notable recognitions include winning the Thiel Fellowship in 2023, making Forbes’ 2024 30 Under 30, and speaking at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) and Roblox Developers Conference (RDC). Outside of Voldex, his #1 passion, Alex's personal interests include weight lifting, running, and learning languages (he speaks English, French, and Spanish).
