Alexandre Stegner

CEO and co-founder of AMPHTRITE after twenty years of research at CNRS and fifteen years as an associate professor at Ecole Polytechnique. I had a Master in Theoretical Physics (1993), a PhD in geophysical fluid dynamics (1997) at the Ecole Normale (France) and was post-doc at Cambridge University. I am working now at the Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique (LMD, IPSL). My current research is focused on coastal oceanography using both theoretical, numerical and experimental approaches in addition to remote sensing data analysis. More recently, I have applied artificial intelligence tools to the analysis of satellite images and developed multi-physics data fusion tools to provide highly reliable and accurate ocean data.
