Focussing on the following tasks to create high quality sportswear for a highly regarded international sports brand. • Ensure target price and product designs are aligned through predictive costing. Review, validate and approve Factory or supplier costing information throughout the entire creation process. Ensure compliance to agreed standards. Negotiate with factory or supplier as needed. • Manage handover from Design to factory to ensure that all information provided to factory is complete. Manage factory feedback to design and marketing and incorporate where quality or cost can be improved without sacrificing product aesthetics. • Ensure timely and accurate data entry by factory regarding article description, costing or other data as required at calendar milestones. • Evaluate all prototypes for compliance with article description, manage fit approval, size specification, approval of colour, accessories and materials. Manage comments to factory. • Ensure that all materials and accessories as well as prototypes are tested and adhere to adidas quality and safety standards. • Review and sign off final sample with complete AD including all related documents prior to buy ready dates. Ensure full conformity to publish policies to ensure a final legal article description for final product.

Internship- 6 months • Assisting men’s training development team in daily business and administration tasks. Support the men’s development team with specific tasks such as fitting organization, comment writing, style creation organisation. • Working closely with partners such as factories, liaison offices, design team and marketing team. • Working on own project for presentations on research done for the team presented in weekly team meeting. Temp contract- 3 months until returning to university • Working on the full product creation process from design handover to commercialization on own ranges whilst still assisting full development team in daily business. • Working closely with designer and marketing of specific range.
