Renaissance EXECUTIVE FORUMS brings together top executives from non-competing companies of similar size, into an advisory board process through which thousands of leaders gain fresh ideas and new insights. I was responsible for enrolling new Members and maintaining relationships with current Members and Franchisees. I maintained and updated the office calendars, coordinated with the international offices, managed phones and ordered supplies.

The lawyers at Bursor & Fisher, P.A. were a small yet dedicated class action practice. My general office duties included filing using BOX, an online file server, handling mail, and maintaining office equipment and supplies. I was responsible for filing documents in the U.S District Court Southern District of New York. I greeted visitors and responded to general phone calls.

J Marshall Events is an event planning company that focuses on non-profits, charities, human rights organizations, and women’s rights events. J Marshall Events provides services for the organizations that help others in need. This position included aiding in the marketing, branding, and development of the company. I assisted in the organization of events, utilized social media as a marketing tool, and researched new vendors.

I worked as an administrative assistant in the Department of Social and Cultural Analysis, this was a work study position within the department. I managed basic administrative needs such as copying and scanning, etc. I also worked with the Event Coordinator to create publicity, and manage the production of events.

I was admitted to a highly-selective cohort of recent college graduates and career-changers committed to raising student achievement in the District of Columbia. I am certified to teach General Science Education under the Regular I license. I received passing scores on the Science Content Knowledge PRAXIS II exam. I completed a rigorous six-week pre-service training including Elementary field experience, extensive classroom observations and feedback, professional learning communities, and training on the Teach Like a Champion techniques. I will pursue licensure through TNTP Academy during the 2014-2015 academic school year. The program includes extensive year-long coaching, regular seminars tailored to Science Education, coursework on assessment and instruction, and a culminating portfolio that must demonstrate effectiveness based on students’ achievement over the year.
