Simplex Sciences, Inc., is an award-winning biotechnology start-up based out of Yale University that synthesizes single-stranded DNA ladders through proprietary mechanisms. Our customized nucleic acid diagnostic tools serve an important and invaluable function to our customers at academic and industrial research institutions (both domestic and international) such as GRAIL, MIT, Novartis and Fudan University in Shanghai, China. As CEO, I am responsible for overseeing a team of thirteen scientists and managers and ensuring continued fulfillment of our group's mission.

Supporting managing partner in establishing the firm's Frontier Fund in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA region). Toyota Venture's Frontier Fund invests in emerging, innovative technologies across areas such as AI, autonomy, robotics, mobility, digital health, deep-tech, smart cities, fintech, and materials.

Source, evaluate and execute investments with aMoon, the largest HealthTech fund in Israel with over $1.3 billion under management. Portfolio companies include Seer, Mammoth Biosciences and Ayala, among many others.

Performed due diligence on startups on the Medical Investments and Investments teams of Israel's most active VC fund. Interviewed CEOs and founding team members; prepared 20+ page investment overviews; presented competitive & market analyses.

Co-founded ADVANCE, an AI-Driven Virtual Assistant Nursing Communication Enhancer, under the guidance of three doctors at Yale’s School of Medicine. Developed both a software and mobile application to allow for two-way communication in hospital spaces between patients and nurses with voice-powered care assistant. Worked to implement technology in hospital spaces.

Co-founded Sweet with two other Yale students. Sweet is an online marketplace and end-to-end booking platform that allows event planners to discover local venues, compare pricing, submit inquiries, chat with venue managers, and pay for the event – all in one place. Through our website and mobile app, Sweet empowers venue managers and event coordinators to host events more efficiently with fewer barriers. Events are sweet, booking them should be, too. Selected for 2020 Tsai City Spring Accelerator.

Oversaw advertising and subscriptions for the medical journal to further business operations; visited business owners to solicit advertisement; coordinated the delivery of 1,200 issues to subscribers, departments, and residential colleges.
