I have been employed as a Process Engineer for Aker Solutions in Aberdeen from 2008, involved in FEED and Detailed Design EPC projects for North Sea operators. I am experienced in process design calculations, process simulation, HAZOP action closeout, operating / commissioning procedures, technical report writing and creation of process documents including P&IDs, PFDs, line lists and equipment datasheets for topsides process equipment. I have gained experience on the design of a range of topsides systems including separators, fuel gas, flares, metering systems, chemical injection, oil sampling, gas chromatographs and utilities. I am a Chartered Member of IChemE and am currently looking for new opportunities in the UK and abroad.

Responsible for review and creation of Operating and Commissioning Procedures for multiple topside systems (Oil Separation, Flare, Seawater, Open / Closed Drains, Electrochlorination, Diesel, Sewage, Instrument Air, Nitrogen Generation) on Premier Oil’s unmanned Solan Platform. Provided Process input to Diesel System and Oily Water Caisson sample scopes required for tendering purposes. Also responsible for the creation of standardised Process CTRs to enable more efficient planning of detailed design deliverables.

* Process Engineer – Talisman Auk Area Redevelopment Project * Concept / FEED phases of a project linking Auk Platform brownfield processes and utilities (Diesel, Potable Water, Seawater, Open Drains, Flare) to an adjacent Greenfield Drilling and Production Platform. * Produced instrument and equipment datasheets, calculations (hydraulics, flowline sizing, pump sizing, KO drum) P&IDs, technical notes and operating procedures. * Attended design reviews, SIL review and HAZOP on flare pilot system as the Design Engineer and was responsible for action closeout. * Worked on various small scale brownfield modifications including, KO Drum and Diesel System modifications. * Sole Process engineer involved in concept phase design of utilities hook up to new Alternative Living Quarters. * Checked work of fellow Process Engineers and technical documents produced from other disciplines. Gained experience in progress reporting and CTR generation.
