Prior to this role, my tenure as a Research Fellow at King’s College London was marked by impactful research, development of a high-throughput platform for protein production and purification, contributing to studies on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, heart development and DNA repair. As a Joint Company Director at Capital Enhancement Ltd, I directed biotechnology consultancy efforts, overseeing the design and implementation of 3D-printed adaptors for process automation. Additionally, I managed the development and deployment of custom monitoring systems, optimising efficiency and reducing costs for clients. Throughout my career, I have been at the forefront of innovation, leveraging my expertise in robotics, data analysis automation, and 3D design to streamline operations and enhance productivity. Noteworthy projects include the implementation of parallel protein production systems and the development of fully automatic protein purification systems, both praised for their efficiency, simplicity and reliability. My technical proficiency extends to a large range of scientific techniques, including liquid chromatography, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, x-ray crystallography and gene expression microarrays.
