MSW Intern @ CT Office of Health Strategy

About

I am currently pursuing my MSW at the UConn School of Social Work with a concentration in Policy Practice. Building on my B.A. in Political Science and Psychological Sciences, I bring a strong foundation in understanding how policies are shaped, how psychological factors influence decision-making, and how human development is impacted by systems of power. My goal is to become a policy analyst in the healthcare sector, where I can contribute to advancing equitable, accessible, and community-centered health policies. I am especially driven by the opportunity to address systemic barriers in healthcare and ensure that underrepresented communities have a stronger voice in shaping the policies that affect their lives. I am eager to engage in opportunities that allow me to apply my skills in policy analysis, advocacy, and research while continuing to grow as a changemaker. My interests extend across healthcare equity, immigration, and sustainability, all grounded in a commitment to advancing justice and systems-level impact.
