I am a current sophomore at Pacific Lutheran University, majoring in Communication studies. With seven years of public speaking experience as a debater and work in technical and persuasive writing, I have very strong communication and interpersonal skills. I’ve worked in customer service, particularly with children, and served in leadership roles as well. Though I entered college interested in psychology, spending time with the PLU forensics team solidified my passion for rhetoric and public speaking, encouraging the change in direction.

I worked for just under a year at the Gig Harbor YMCA during which I was responsible for overseeing an upwards of 20 children at a time along with several other staff members. The children we oversaw ranged in age from six weeks to seven years of age and included those with disabilities. Our duties included cleaning and organization, leading activities, as well as fostering good relationships with parents and other Y patrons.
