I am a CELTA qualified teacher with experience teaching in England, Mexico and Turkey. I have almost 5 years teaching experience, and have worked in language schools, organised and run English courses for education institutes. I am currently employed at Istanbul University in the Foreign Languages Department. I have experience teaching all age ranges, all levels, general English, Business English, Cambridge Exams prep. (KET and PET), IELTS exam prep., TOEFL exam prep., and E-learning. I also have experience of course/syllabus design and planning and have used a range of resources. I have attended various workshops and conferences within field of EFL in both Mexico and Turkey including MEXTESOL, the biggest EFL conference in Mexico, and I am always looking to further myself in this career. Previous to working as an English teacher I worked as ecologist, with my last position in that field at Oxford University as a mammal researcher at Oxford University's WildCRU.
