Working predominantly through Helix Construct where I am responsible for tendering, procurement and ongoing cost management of numerous projects within Helix’s current portfolio. Helix Construct are a main contractor operating in the South East of England. The Helix Group has been operational for around 2 years and in that time has built strong relationships with local architects and subcontractors, delivering an exceptional product and service to their clients. In the last 12 months I have at peak managed 6 projects and currently have 4, 3 of which I will be final accounting in the next month and will be looking to pick up new jobs from those we have successfully secured. At Helix, the jobs I have managed to date have helped to build my experience in pursuit of a senior role. Examples of this are alternative forms of construction, exposure to Helix Consulting, forms of contract and their respective responsibilities, site logistics, client change and demands, resolution and negotiation, programming, financial reporting and client reports, and advancing my technical build knowledge.

Currently working as an assistant quantity surveyor for Crest Nicholson South. Manage the tender process through inception to final account with all required trades. Responsible for holding meetings with subcontractors as necessary and dealing with day to day site issues through liaison with the site team. Complete and present cost reports to management each month for each of my sites, of which I currently have two, one in Sunbury and one in Lindfield. Sunbury being three phases and Lindfield being one. In total the build cost value of these developments is £35m. I will be taking on two more sites within the next 6-12 months.

Working within the Commercial department of Crest Nicholson South. Involved with the tendering and management of subcontractor works for the region. Graduate Program is rotational, meaning I have attained valuable skills and knowledge through time spent in each department of the company.
