Leading Miro Tables development (2 teams): * Coordinated 20+ teams to successfully deliver a new product, Miro Tables, from concept to launch - the most complex widget to date with one of the highest adoption rates of any Miro feature released that year (100K+ DAU). Tables also serve as a key foundation for Miro's long-term product strategy * Provided technical leadership during the development of the new collaboration server, which is responsible for collaboration on Tables, this project required aligning work of 10+ teams. This was a 4-year project that my team was able to finish, paving the way for easy development of new collaboration servers for other data types (e.g Docs) * In the absence of a product manager, I defined the scope and work plan and coordinated them with the company's leadership * I gained experience in managing Staff+ engineers, grew the team from 3 to 13 engineers, and built a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and transparency * Guided the team through company-wide layoffs, maintaining morale and ensuring delivery speed and quality were unaffected * Led the Miro AI X Tables integration, enabling users to create and refine tables using natural language prompts

After becoming the manager of the Miro Developer Platform API team (3 people), I successfully fostered a culture of trust, collaboration, and high performance. I worked with the team and PM to set clear OKRs and held DRIs accountable for delivering results. I established an effective stream-level on-call rotation and led multiple cross-team initiatives to improve stream cohesion. Additionally, I mentored one of my direct reports, successfully helping her achieve a promotion. Before transitioning to the new team, I developed a one-year technical strategy to migrate application logic from the monolith to a microservice, which the team has successfully implemented.

I drove the development of Miro Developer Platform v2 API, empowering developers to build apps and integrations that extend Miro's functionality. I designed and led the implementation of over half of the platform’s features (160+ endpoints, 1K+ RPS), including Webhooks and Real-Time Storage (similar to Firebase Realtime Database). The platform contributed to $100+ million ARR and positioned Miro as the preferred choice for high-value clients.

I authored and developed two courses - "Algorithms for Software Engineers" and "Tech Skills for Product Managers & Business Leaders" - and led a total of 10 cohorts (5-15 people in each). Additionally, I mentored and conducted mock interviews with over 50 engineers and product managers, helping them successfully transition into new roles and enhance their skill sets.

I worked on improving the user experience and the reliability of the systems responsible for Amazon Deals, Lightning Deals, and Deals notifications, boosting sales by $1 million per day, and preparing these systems for Prime Day, the world’s busiest sales event (70K+ RPS).

I developed and optimized the Internal Cloud monitoring system, similar to Prometheus and Grafana, improving the host agent, in-house time series database, query processor, and data aggregation algorithms. I also worked on systems responsible for dashboards, templates, and alerting. The system was able to handle 100M events from ~100K hosts in a second and compute a new data point in 5 seconds, faster than any open-source or commercial monitoring solution at that time.

I handled system administration for a Search Engine cluster, consisting of ~60K servers: improving the infrastructure, automating processes, deploying releases and ML models, and handling incident investigations. I developed a release information aggregator service, implementing both the backend and frontend, and worked on improving the SERP frontend development infrastructure.
