Alex Kozinets, PE

As Chief Customer Officer, Alex is responsible for driving Facility Grid’s product strategy and supporting its most important asset, customers. Alex acts as customer advocate in the product development process, bringing his experience as a commissioning professional and his knowledge of the industry to bear. In addition, he is leading customer success and spearheading customer education with a webinar series on Facility Grid, its implementation, and best practices in the commissioning space. Alex is a registered PE, CxA, EBCP, and LEED AP. Alex brings over 25 years of experience in master planning, project management, mechanical engineering design, construction administration, start-up, and commissioning across a variety of projects for life science, healthcare, mission critical, industrial, academic, aviation, and commercial facilities. Alex's three most notable projects are: LaGuardia Central Terminal B Redevelopment, New York, NY Alex served as a CxA for the new state of the art facility, which replaced the existing buildings originally constructed in 1964. Alex managed a team of professionals involved in commissioning of various systems: MEP & FP, Fire Alarm, Tel/Data, Security, Vertical and Horizontal Transportation, and Ramp Management. Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC), Huntsville, AL Alex oversaw Construction Administration activities for the the multi-building FBI forensic laboratory facility. TEDAC directly supports broader U.S. government efforts to mitigate or prevent IED attacks by performing advanced exploitation of IEDs through physical examination. King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Alex served as a Project Manager and Project Engineer for several facilities comprising the University including: Advanced Fabrication Core Facility (Clean Room), Imaging/ Characterization and NMR Laboratories, and Applied Mathematics and Computational Science Institute.
