•Identified ways to improve the unfavorable work order variance within the manufacturing department by analyzing all work order variances in the amount of $5,000 or less. Determined root cause of why the Accounting Cost Quantity (ACQ) was not reached and whether it was a recurring trend or an isolated incident. In cases where the ACQ was consistently overstated, made recommendation to adjust ACQ. •Presented findings and final recommendations to the Planning and Quality teams to gain buy-in and obtained agreement on recommendations.
