Designed and prototyped novel motor-driven modules that actuate compliant origami joints. Contributed to the manufacturing and assembly of a quadruped with an internal spinal degree of freedom. GRASP Lab - Kod*Lab

Programmed control algorithms for a 18-DOF hexapod robot to ensure stable locomotion. Simulated hexapod locomotion across various terrains via the PyBullet physics engine. Selected for a fully-funded research internship at the National University of Singapore (NUS) through Penn's Global Research & Internship Program (GRIP).

Organized and led three sessions of a debate camp for 35+ students around the U.S. and nationally raising $14k+ in revenue. Students achieved national level success —most notably top speakers at the Harvard invitational (1st & 2nd out of 561).

Developed a deep learning model that predicts dense depth maps from color images provided by the Waymo dataset. Designed an self-supervised neural network with a DensetNet feature encoder and a decoder that predicted depth and pose with 92% accuracy. Utilized AWS EFS and EC2 to store data and train models in the cloud.

Conducted bioinformatics research on 23 HIV-1 samples from Cameroon under the guidance of Dr. Jiangqin Zhao. Modelled evolutionary relationships between HIV-1 subtypes via a phylogenetic tree. Presented findings and co-authored a scientific publication.
