Head of an organization dedicated to the management of Intel’s Open Compute platform business and solutions for the Computer Vision, Sensor Fusion and Driving Policy functional blocks of ADAS and Autonomous Driving systems. Such systems range from Level 2 to Level 5 of Autonomy and are used in privately owned vehicles and fleets for the transportation/mobility on demand ride-share services of the future. Organization charter included: - Managing all aspects of the business: business plan development and ownership, revenue, P&L, customer design-in/wins, hardware and software ecosystems and product planning. - Requirements definition and ownership of solutions including Atom and Xeon class CPUs, Deep Learning Accelerators, and hardware and software reference systems/platforms. Platforms include SDKs, middleware including Adaptive Autosar, and OS including QNX and Safety Linux. Requirements defined include Functional Safety (FUSA) ASIL ratings and features as per ISO 26262 and Automotive Grades according to AEC-Q100. - Ecosystem management for the product line. This includes developing a base of technology and commercial partners for the platform solutions encompassing PMICs, interface devices, middleware and OS vendors, and working with Tier 1s to support the availability of production platforms using Intel products, promoting these to OEMs. - Working with Tier 1s and car makers (OEMs) to jointly specify requirements for products and solutions and designing in the Intel products. - Negotiating contracts and deals with ecosystem partners and OEMs. - Pricing strategy.

• Ran the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth business worldwide in Qualcomm's Automotive and IoE/M2M group. The products are used in Infotainment, Telematics, Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to- Infrastructure (V2V/V2I) Communication and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for the Connected Car and Smart Cities. • Responsibilities included business development at car makers and Tier 1/2 suppliers, design-ins, revenue, P&L, product and roadmap definition, ecosystem creation, including partnership activities for joint system development. • Member of internal and industry level working groups for the advancement of Autonomous Driving technologies and their roll-out.
