🔹 Industrial Expansion | Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) | Production Line Startup 🔹 International experience in establishing a new production facility, with full responsibility for the construction and development of a MIM (Metal Injection Moulding) production line. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinated the design and installation of the MIM production line. - Worked with the procurement team to identify suppliers. - Collaborated with the HSE team to validate machinery safety. - Supported the facility team in setting up the necessary utilities. - Identified the first products to be manufactured. - Conducted production capacity analysis to define the required number of machines. - Designed the layout of the department. - Trained all involved personnel, from operators to department managers. - Definition of quality gates. Approach: Strategic and operational project management with a focus on efficiency, safety, and quality. Objective: Ensure the successful launch and full operational capability of the MIM production line, laying the foundation for the facility’s growth.

Main Activities: - Rapid identification and resolution of process issues using a scientific approach. - Implementation of technological and operational improvements to generate tangible savings. - Development of business cases to quantify the economic benefits of optimizations. - Analysis and selection of measurement tools, working directly with suppliers for testing and strategic purchases (up to €1M). - Collaboration with various departments (Quality, Production, R&D, Procurement, Design, Maintenance, Environment & Safety) to align interests and achieve shared goals. Technical Focus: Main areas: Manufacturing of metal semi-finished products, brazing, surface finishing. Other areas: Washing, electroplating, PVD, pad printing, plastic injection molding, painting. Approach: Observation, scientific methodology, and effective problem-solving were the guiding principles in all activities, with particular attention to the time constraints dictated by the fashion industry. Objective: To improve production processes by maximizing efficiency and cost savings.

Master thesis work at the Department of Non-Ferrous Metallurgy (NEM, Nichteisenmetallurgie).

100 hours of training on: Project Management // Start-Up Law // Soft skills // Design thinking // Communication Management //Business Models // Lean Methodology 100 hours on the development of a project in collaboration with De Angeli Prodotti Srl, concerning smart conductors for the monitoring of high voltage power lines.

Two weeks of lectures, group work and cultural tours. In particular, 10 professors presented the state of the art of their works in the area of advanced materials.

Continuation of the previously started work, entering into production of the optimized white gold alloy. Special attention has been given to quality, by taking into account every production process: casting, machining and heat treatments, in order to obtain well-determined values of hardness and a controlled microstructure. Subsequently, heat treatments for other precious metal alloys were studied.

During the internship I wrote my bachelor thesis "Study of the composition and microstructure of white gold alloys used in the jewelry industry."
