Head of the Engineering Department dedicated to new products development and qualification initiatives. Core products include aerospace fluid-dynamic equipment, notably for ECLSS, Active Thermal Control Systems and Propulsion subsystems.

I am working as program manager for strategic projects and new initiatives, supporting the business development function. The programs I am managing are mostly oriented on aerospace products, especially electro-mechanical, fluid-dynamic equipment for Active Thermal Control, Environmental Control and Propulsion subsystems, with applications ranging from manned modules, satellites and launch vehicles. These includes for instance: - Development and Qualification of a Pressure Control Assembly and Shut-Off Valve for ECLSS subsystem – Space application – Lunar Gateway and ISS programs - Development and Qualification of a Pump-Motor Unit for thermal control subsystem – Space application- GSTP Program - Development and Qualification of a Three-Ways Mixing Valve and Liquid On-Off Valve for ATCS – IHAB program - Co-engineering and manufacturing of a Turbine Vane Frame prototype (Customer: Safran Aircraft Engines) - Development of cryogenic Valves for a future Launch Vehicle (Customer Avio)

I have been working as project manager in different projects concerning the following topics: • Enabling technologies for Active Debris Removal (ADR), such as CADET project - cofunded by Regione Piemonte on POR-FESR 2007/2013 programme. • ESA projects in the frame of Clean Space initiative, such as the "Service Oriented Approach for ADR" and the E.deorbit mission phase A. • Analysis and assessment of future orbital systems and technologies for capture, fixation and deorbiting of large space debris in LEO orbits, with participation to Concurrent Engineering sessions among Aviospace's mother company. • Analysis and assessment of systems, missions and scenarios for future missions of space exploration, in the frame of ESA study “Scenarios for Human Spaceflight and Exploration” • R&D project about innovative fabrics for space products • Project planning and proposal preparation for ESA and FP7 bids, as well as for internal R&D projects.

I have been in charge of ordinary tasks in the following fields: • Administration • Direction • representation • Project management and coordination Over these tasks, I have been often in charge of technical activities related to the execution and control of the projects. The following cases can be mentioned: • Design of an integrated, non-pneumatic driving wheel for a pressurized lunar rover, where he took care in particular of: o Modelling and simulation of the interface between wheel o Design and mechanical characterization of a metallic wheel o Concept development and simulation of the control system for a synchronous electrical motor • Definition and development of algorithms for Monte-Carlo simulation oriented to the sizing of a logistic support system for fleets of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. • Activities of functional analysis, requirements analysis and assessment and concept design of space systems in the frame of ESA study named “Architectures for European Space Exploration”, with participation to 8 design sessions among Concurrent Design Facility at Estec. • Activity of structural verification on mechanical components of gear-box for traction application.

Activities as electronics laboratory assistant teacher and practise assistant teacher for the following corse: • Electronics - 1° level degree in Biomedical Engineering • Electrical Engineering – 1° level degree in Electronics and ICT Engineering • Electronic Bioengineering – 1° level degree in Biomedical Engineering • Biomedical Image Processing – 2° level degree in Biomedical Engineering
